Drive Prudently! Choose Life! - A Step Towards Road Safety

According to statistics, in 2022, Romania ranked first in the number of deaths caused by road accidents in the European Union. It is therefore useful to focus on preventing such accidents by raising awareness of the impact of destructive habits such as disregarding traffic rules, speeding, drunk driving, and acquiring safer driving habits, first aid measures, etc.

We are delighted to support the "Drive Prudently! Choose Life!" project organized by Rotaract, which aims to generate a significant impact in promoting safer driving habits and saving lives.

We invite you to join this project, which aims to carry out a campaign of information and awareness about road safety through useful and attractive activities.

This initiative aims to draw attention to the importance of respecting traffic rules and to provide participants with the necessary tools to become more responsible drivers. Through collaboration with the Romanian Police and SMURD, interactive workshops and captivating presentations will be organized, emphasizing the significant impact of respecting traffic rules and providing useful tips to avoid accidents.

Another important aspect of the event is the presentation of motorcycle safety and prevention equipment, offering participants the opportunity to learn how to safely ride on two wheels as well as in a regular vehicle.

To emphasize awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, virtual reality equipment simulating drunkenness will be used. Thus, participants will better understand the associated risks and will be encouraged to always choose responsible options in traffic.

The event does not stop here. An essential part of it is first aid education. Specialized courses and extrication simulations will provide participants with the necessary skills to intervene quickly and efficiently in case of an accident, thus saving lives.

It is important for all of us to get involved in this initiative and to share this information with as many people as possible. "Drive Prudently! Choose Life!" is an important step towards improving road safety in Romania and, with the support of our community, we can make a significant difference.
